Sterilizer-UHT
TORAY Sterilizer UHT (Ultra High Temperature) is a device or system that processes liquid food products in a short time and at high temperatures. UHT process is used to completely purify the products from microorganisms and give them a long shelf life. Generally, liquid foods such as milk, fruit juices, coffee creamer, chocolate milk are UHT processed.
How does it work?
- UHT sterilizers process the product by heating it to very high temperatures (usually between 135-150°C) in a short time (usually between 2-5 seconds).
- The heating process reduces the microbial load of the product and destroys the effectiveness of pathogenic microorganisms and enzymes.
- After the sterilization process is completed, the product is quickly cooled and packaged.
Advantages:
- Long shelf life: Thanks to the UHT process, products can be stored at room temperature and retain their freshness for a long time.
- Nutritional value preservation: The nutritional values and natural flavors of the products are generally preserved.
- Safety: Sterilizer UHT process ensures the microbiological safety of products, providing a reliable option for consumers.
Scope of application:
- Milk and dairy products (e.g. long-life milk)
- Fruit juices
- Coffee and chocolate milks
- Liquids used in ready meals
Sterilizer UHT systems are widely used in businesses that produce liquid food on an industrial scale. These systems ensure that products reach the consumer safely by meeting hygiene standards.
