Storage and Process Tanks

Stainless steel storage and process tanks are large closed containers used in industrial facilities, usually made of stainless steel. These tanks are used for storing, processing or mixing various liquids and are usually designed to meet hygienic requirements. Stainless steel increases the durability of the tank and provides resistance to corrosion, thus providing a long-lasting and reliable storage solution.

Characteristics of Stainless Steel Storage and Process Tanks

Material: Stainless steel storage and process tanks are usually manufactured using stainless steel (mostly AISI 304 or AISI 316 grade). This material is resistant to the chemical effects of liquids and can be easily cleaned under hygienic conditions.

Capacity: The capacity of the tanks can be in a wide range, ranging from small tanks of a few liters to large industrial tanks of thousands of liters. This capacity selection is determined by the needs of the facility and the volume of liquid to be used.

Design and Construction: Stainless steel tanks are usually designed as cylindrical horizontal or vertical and can be equipped with various accessories (e.g. covers, safety valves, inlet/outlet points, level indicators, mixers, etc.). These accessories can be customized according to the intended use of the tank and the operating needs.

Optional Equipment: They can be equipped with various additional equipment such as heating or cooling systems, mixers, level sensors. In this way, the temperature or concentration of the stored liquids can be controlled.

Hygiene: Stainless steel tanks used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other sensitive industries are designed to meet hygienic standards. They can be easily sterilized with smooth interior surfaces, no corners and correct cleaning and disinfection protocols.

Applications: Stainless steel storage and process tanks are widely used in liquid food production, beverages, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics and other industrial applications. Storage tanks are generally used for temporary storage of raw materials or products, while process tanks are used for mixing, heat treatment or other processes of products.

Stainless storage and process tanks play an important role in industrial production processes with their reliability, long life and hygienic features. These tanks increase the efficiency of production processes while ensuring product quality and safety.
